Job Role - Indirect Tax Manager.
Location of Job - Work From Home. If aspirants choose work from office option then job location will be Bangalore.
Job Duties and Responsibilities - The responsibilities for this opening are mentioned below in-detail
- Deliver timely and accurate indirect tax advice to business units
- Collaborate and coordinate with various business units
- Provide appropriate responses to our customers who require information about value added tax and consumption tax
- Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of indirect tax declarations and their filing
- Review vendor invoices with exceptional indirect tax positions
- Implement, review and optimize SAP processes dealing with indirect tax records and reporting
- Manage and participate in development of software solutions for indirect tax automation
- Manage indirect tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
- Collaborate with internal business resources and external tax advisers.
Qualification Required - The candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent with emphasis in Finance, Information Systems or Accounting. Advanced degree a plus.
Age - A candidate must be at least 18 years old. There is no upper age limit mentioned by Ebay.
Pay Scale/CTC - The average salary of an Indirect Tax Manager at Ebay is Rs 44,500 per month approximately which will be around 5.4 lakhs per year.
Expected Knowledge and Skills - The knowledge and skills that you need are given below
- Excellent knowledge of indirect tax regulations and authorities in the Asia Pacific region
- Experience with indirect taxes in EMEA is helpful but not mandatory
- Familiarity with e-commerce taxation trends
- Strong customer focus; good listening, negotiation and problem-resolution skills
- Working experience in multinational environment is desired
- Demonstrated passion and track record of delivering results in a rapidly changing business environment
- A great sense of accuracy
- Strong issue identification and mitigation skills
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise manner in both written and verbal presentations
- Ability to work independently to drive projects while following the team charter
- Willing to travel approximately 5% of the time.
