• Ownership and main point of contact for escalated sales tax refunds related to tax-ability issues and buyer exemptions
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve customer-initiated sales/VAT tax inquiries
• Assist US-based Indirect Tax Team in gathering and analyzing large data sets and other audit support documentation
• Assist US-based Indirect Tax Team with other special projects or miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Perform ad-hoc tax technical research.
  

Qualification Required - The candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent with emphasis in Finance, Information Systems or Accounting. Advanced degree a plus.

Age - A candidate must be at least 18 years old. There is no upper age limit mentioned by Ebay.

Pay Scale/CTC - The average salary of an Indirect Tax Analyst at Ebay is Rs 33,300 per month approximately which will be around 4.0 lakhs per year.

Expected Knowledge and Skills - The knowledge and skills that you need are given below

• Capable of working independently while acting as part of a global tax team
• Strong issue identification and mitigation skills
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise manner both written and verbally
• Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, and tax research engines required
• Experience with SharePoint, Tableau, Alteryx and other data wrangling tools preferred
• Experience with Vertex and/or other tax engines preferred
• Fluent in English.
